20 yards to the beach...
For my final major project I am creating a book full of illustrations and poetry inspired by the beach, I live at the seaside and am lucky enough to be presented with constant inspiration. I went on a daily wander the other day and found some wings, no bird just wings. Usually when faced with half a dead thing I would have been distraught, but I found these wings so intriguing and was in total awe of them, I'm not gonna go into detail just yet but they inspired all sorts of ideas.

I have finished...
I have finished, just a very simple change since the last post. I basically added the green turf and the halfway line? I think it works, and I like it, but we'll have to wait and see if it holds it's own amongst the competition.

Morning...
May not be the finished piece but a slight development since my last post, I'm liking the use of text in the place of the shadows. Just got to sort out the background I think, perhaps the simple texture to avoid over complicating things, but may experiment with a few bits and bobs, definately requires something subtle.

Seagulls standing...
A few little drawings in my sketchbook which I actually quite like. Just been playing around with a few ideas for the Illustration for Poetry competition, I've been focussing on Morning by Alistair Robinson.
